Hilliards Furniture Company is the oldest retail business in Dublin, Ohio. Our founder, Jim McKitrick, began by selling paint and fence wire to folks when Dublin was a tiny little rural town fifty years ago. We have been in the same location since August 1953. Every 30 years or so we expand by adding a new showroom. We have over 15,000 sq. ft. of some of the finest quality furniture for your home. We're a family-owned business. We lost Jim suddenly in January 2005. Now one of Jim's daughters (Mindy) runs the business with the help of her husband and her several cousins. The store is hard to find since Dublin expanded the 2-lane Avery Road bridge (over Route 33/161) into 6-lanes and added a couple of fountains. Old Avery Road is a service road - only about 1,000 feet in length on the west side of Avery Road (just off Shier-Rings Road). Check out the Directions and Store Information for a map.
